Myalgic Encephalomyelitis

Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

It has been shown that whole body treatments of MLD improve and have a positive reaction on the body.

MLD has a calming effect on the nervous system, it helps to balance to parasympathetic which is the night nerve (for rest) and the sympathetic, which is the day nerve . Everyday stresses and strains may cause the parasympathetic and the sympathetic to become out of balance and the day nerve may predominate. After MLD the patient becomes calmer and more relaxed, any disease is not helped by this imbalance. The parasympathetic nerve promotes growth and has a nourishing impression helping to restore strength to the nervous system. MLD helps to reduce muscle hypertension.

The pumping capacity of lymph vessels which is achieved with MLD increases the lymph flow helping to speed the filtration of free radicals from the lymphatic system, any swelling may be reduced. Connective tissue can be purified, small molecular substances being reabsorbed into the blood stream and large molecular (i.e. waste metabolites, toxins and bacteria) are removed from the connective tissue, creating more mobility within the joints and cleansing the system, helping to make the body more resistant against viruses.
